Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii —Late last night around 11 p.m., Tripler Medical Center suffered a 10-inch water main rupture at the facility. Crews from the Department of Public Works (DPW) at U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii worked to repair the water main early this morning.

The Army DPW team, in cooperation with the Honolulu Water Supply Board, opened an “intertie” line to access a potable water source for the facility prior to the completion of the repairs.

Water conservation advisories have been posted on the US Army Garrison Hawaii social media pages and for residents, single soldiers and all offices on Tripler until further notice.

Also, all medical appointments have been canceled today. Finally, the Tripler pool and fitness center are closed until further notice; see for available alternatives. Please share with your constituents.
