Warzone’s new Blueprint Blitz event is now live for a limited time. As previously announced with the reloaded Season 4 of Call of Duty, Blueprint Blitz allows players to contract to earn some of Warzone’s weapon blueprints from previous seasons. [Update: Due to an issue players were not correctly receiving blueprints, Blueprint Blitz has been temporarily disabled. There’s no word on when it will be reactivated.]
The Blueprint Blitz challenge event message appearing in the game lobby reads: Unlock all 11 plans before the time runs out. Complete two contracts in one match and extract the reward from the smuggling plan at the helipad. It’s also worth noting that Blueprint Blitz is only available in regular Battle Royale matches and Plunder Mode, so Limited Time Payload Mode is not included in this event.
Blueprint Blitz is now live!
It’s time to earn blueprints from previous seasons!
Drop in. Farm contracts. Extract contraband.

Basically these should work like the previous contraband contracts in Warzone, but you will need to complete two regular contracts in your match before the special contracts unlock. You have to deliver the contract package to an area marked on the map within a defined time frame, where you will have to wait for a helicopter to land for the exfil. If the helicopter manages to extract the package, you will earn cash and a weapon blueprint to keep.
There has been no specific mention of which plans will be specifically available during this time, but this may also include special blueprints of ancient Warzone Easter Eggs. The Blueprint Blitz event will end on August 13, which means the event will end at the start of the new season. And here are all the details on what’s to come when Call of Duty Season 5 launches on August 12.
In addition to Blueprint Blitz, a double XP event will also be active this weekend for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. This event begins today and will end on August 9 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET.
