Ghost guns appeared in Seneca Falls, search in Lyon: three arrested for selling drugs and weapons

State police have arrested three people in connection with the sale of drugs and weapons in Seneca and Wayne counties.

According to New York State Police, two search warrants were executed in Lyons and Seneca Falls on October 27.

Cocaine, crack, weapons and ammunition – including ghost guns – were seized at both locations.

Jose Luis Gonzalez, 28, from Lyon was in possession of cocaine and crack. He was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Soldiers said Gonzalez was also in possession of five high-capacity ammunition magazines, a 9mm handgun and an assault rifle. He was also charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Police added that Gonzalez is a convicted felon who has been arraigned and released to appear at a later date in local court.

Soldiers said the search took place on Pilgrimport Road.

The second search, which took place on Boston Avenue in Seneca Falls, resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old Zachary Nicole Rodriguez and 30-year-old Santiago Andres.

They were in possession of a 9mm ghost pistol with a large capacity extended magazine, as well as some crack.

They were charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon, as a felony, in addition to criminal possession of a controlled substance, as a felony.

Police said the weapons charge carried added weight because of the intent to sell the weapons found in Seneca Falls.
