How to enroll using Salvation Army Toys For Tots in SWMO


SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The holiday season is approaching and many organizations around the Ozarks are looking to provide help to families in need.

The Salvation Army and Toys For Tots are among the organizations looking to help with various vacation programs.

The Branson Salvation Army begins signing up for its annual Christmas food and toy distribution program. Registration begins Nov. 15 for the Salvation Army in Springfield.

Organizers expect hundreds of families to register. The Salvation Army will assist families with children 16 and under, households with people aged 60 and over, and households with people with disabilities.

Registration will be done in person only at the Salvation Army location at 1114 Stanley Boulevard.

Dates: November 1-15

Hours: Monday (10 am-3pm and 5 pm-7pm), Tuesday-Friday (10 am-3pm)

Dates: November 15-19

Hours: Monday (9 a.m.-12 p.m., 1 p.m.-3 p.m. and 5 p.m.-7 p.m.), Tuesday-Friday (9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-3 p.m.)

Here’s what you need to bring:

  • Photo ID for the head of household (must be the custodial parent or legal guardian)
  • Identification documents for the entire household (last four digits of the SS number, birth certificate, insurance card, school registration)
  • Proof of residence (utility bill, lease, etc.)
  • Custody / hospitality documents, if applicable
  • Proof of all monthly household income

Besides, Toddler Toys returns to the Ozarks for the holiday season. In 2020, the organization distributed nearly 34,000 toys and supported more than 3,500 families in the Springfield area.
