Ubisoft Action-RPG Assassin’s Creed Valhalla offers players a plethora of weapons to use in battle. Instead of, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has weapons such as spears, hammers and flails. To improve combat, players use skill trees and can upgrade weapons at the blacksmith. Some weapons are arguably more powerful than others and are worth the extra effort to get or upgrade them. One of these weapons is the Sad Cry.
About the sad cry
The sad cry is a hammer that players can wield in any hand. Some players may have a penchant for a different type of Assassin’s Creed weapon, but Mornful Cry’s perks make it too good to pass up. Pre-upgraded, this weapon contains 59 attacks, 48 skills, 76 stuns, 13 weights, and 53 critical hits (critical chance). Sorrowful Cry’s critical hits temporarily poison weapons, which will come in handy against stronger enemies.
It is advisable to try different Assassin’s Creed Valhalla weapons to make the game much easier and help players find their preferred form of combat. The Mornful Cry uses the wolf skill tree and has three rune slots. A maxed-out cry of sorrow could have an attack of 136, speed of 50, stun of 182, weight of 9, and pre-crit of 99.
Get the cry of sadness
Unlike some of the other weapons in the game, Mornful Cry can be purchased from a vendor. The Mournful Cry weapon costs 120 opals in Reda’s store in Ravensthorpe, which is available to players after the “Heavy is the Head” mission.
Reda’s Shop specializes in rare products AC Valhalla articles and is divided into daily and weekly categories. This means that if the Sad Scream isn’t available, players will have to keep checking out until it spawns in the store. The reset time will always be 2:00 p.m. GMT while the weekly reset is scheduled for Tuesday.
If they run out of Opals, players can earn more by completing Contracts or Quests for Reba. Be careful, some quests will expire after 24 hours while others may have a time limit that expires at the end of the week.
Locating the Sad Scream might not be difficult for some players, but getting it can be a chore if they are running out of in-game currency or don’t know what to do. Anyone looking to expand their weapons inventory will need to stay on top of Assassin Creed Valhalla in-game calendars and resets.
