Detectives of the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department are asking the public’s help in identifying and locating a vehicle with reference to an offense of assault with a dangerous weapon (firearm) that occurred on Friday, December 31, 2021, in the block 4600 South Capitol Street, Southwest.
At approximately 1:34 a.m., members of the Seventh District heard gunshots and responded to the location indicated. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim with gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. A second adult male with a gunshot wound has been located at a local hospital receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
A vehicle of interest, described as a new white SUV model, was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below.

The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a reward of up to $ 10,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person (s) responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
